Afterworld is an internet mini-series type of movie that you can watch online. Its based around this guy Shoemaker, and his travels after “the fall”… The fall was a nuclear attack or maybe some sort of natural disaster that causes 99.9% of the population to disappear, biblical rapture style. The few people that survive are given a second chance…
The mini-series takes us along Shoemaker’s 3000 mile journey from New York across the country to Washington, to get back to his wife and daughter who might not even be alive… But the thought of his family needing him, drives him as he encounters many hardships along the way.
At this point he’s been through Pennsylvania, stopping through Philadelphia and Pittsburg. He stopped in Ohio near the Serpant Mounds, where all sorts of crazy intergalactic fireball time-traveling stuff was going down. After a brief stay in Louisville now he’s trekking though Kentucky… I SURE WISH THERE WAS A LINK TO WATCH ALL 130 CLIPS IN ONE SHOT!!! JEEZ!
Myspace has been releasing short clips of the series every day, something like 130 mini-videos in total. As of 8/31/07 there have been 15 episodes released on myspace, but I was able to find a few more (up to # 32) at Bud.tv … According to the Afterworld official forum, begining 9/3/2007 a new video will be released everyday…
It sucks to watch this in short mini-clips like we are being forced into doing, but I sure cant wait to watch this thing in full. It has grabbed my attention and reeled me in. Here’s the 1st clip of 130, you can find the rest as they are released at the links below it… I suggest you check them out.
