Democrats love Republican Ron Paul?

…I have a confession to make.I love Ron Paul.

Seriously, the dude is a patriot. Of all the candidates in the 2008 presidential hiatus, Ron Paul is the only one that i think is honestly looking out for the common man (or woman). Though he is a Republican (I never thought I would publicly support a Republican, but it has happened!), the majority of the stuff I have read or heard about Ron Paul has been very intriguing. I’ve seen him talking shit about the Federal Reserve, which was awesome. I’ve heard about how he initially got into politics when Richard Nixon trashed the gold standard… to quote the Ron Paul wikipedia: he said, “After that day, all money would be political money rather than money of real value. I was astounded.” He’s also an obstetrician and a gynecologist… not to mention a 10-term Congressman. Ron Paul is the man!

In a recent nationally-televised Republican presidential candidate debate, Paul got into it with fellow Republican hopefull Rudy Giuliani:

PAUL: They attack us because we’ve been over there. We’ve been bombing Iraq for 10 years. We’ve been in the Middle East [for years]. I think [Ronald] Reagan was right. We don’t understand the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics. Right now, we’re building an embassy in Iraq that is bigger than the Vatican. We’re building 14 permanent bases. What would we say here if China was doing this in our country or in the Gulf of Mexico? We would be objecting.GIULIANI: That’s really an extraordinary statement. That’s an extraordinary statement, as someone who lived through the attack of September 11, that we invited the attack because we were attacking Iraq. I don’t think I’ve heard that before, and I’ve heard some pretty absurd explanations for September 11th. And I would ask the congressman to withdraw that comment and tell us that he didn’t really mean that.PAUL: I believe very sincerely that the CIA is correct when they teach and talk about blowback. When we went into Iran in 1953 and installed the Shah, yes there was blowback. The reaction to that was the taking of our hostages, and that persists. And if we ignore that, we ignore that at our own risk. If we think we can do what we want around the world and not incite hatred, then we have a problem. They don’t come here to attack us because we’re rich and we’re free, they come and attack us because we’re over there.

But what would happen if a guy like Ron Paul squeezed his way into being the Republican candidate for President of the United States? Do you think Democrats, and all the others, would ever vote for a Republican?

Ron Paul is the only candidate interested in real Americans-everyday citizens, soldiers, teachers, workers. Both parties have totally lost focus- they are both interested in power grabs and feathering their own nests. If Ron Paul could attract votes from both parties, it would truly shake the foundations of American politics and put the focus back where it belongs…on Americans.

I think the democratic candidates are terrified of Ron Paul. He beats them all on the anti-war vote and that’ll be THE issue come general election time. In fact, I think if the GOP doesn’t get behind Paul and give him a big push we’re likely to see the Dems capture the presidency and sweep all of congress as well… which would probably lead to the U.S. becoming a socialist state.

no way… the only thing he gets right is privacy and freedom are two of the most important rights we are losing. Plus the bit about how Bush is a madman and the republicans are fucking this country out of its future. The rest of his platform is sheer lunacy.

“The rich people will be very happy they don’t have to pay taxes and they’ll take care of the poor people.” rich people already don’t pay any taxes, that’s part of the problem. Plus, they won’t do shit for the poor people, just like now.

“If someone’s family member comes down with a catastrophic illness like cancer we could stop charging them their social security tax payments so they could keep that money and then they could afford their medical bills.” LOL - $250,000? and he was smiling broadly when he said that.

“States will be in charge so civil rights and discrimination may become an issue for awhile in some of the states but the people who feel they’re being hurt by this could move to a state where they feel they’re treated better.” Refugees??!! fleeing a state? ethnic cleansing?

Besides freedom and privacy, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?

    Here are some REAL quotes:

Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution.

    Privacy and Personal Liberty

The biggest threat to your privacy is the government. We must drastically limit the ability of government to collect and store data regarding citizens’ personal matters. (more…)

    War and Foreign Policy

The war in Iraq was sold to us with false information. The area is more dangerous now than when we entered it. We destroyed a regime hated by our direct enemies, the jihadists, and created thousands of new recruits for them. (more…)

    Property Rights and Eminent Domain

We must stop special interests from violating property rights and literally driving families from their homes, farms and ranches. (more…)

    Border Security and Immigration Reform

The talk must stop. We must secure our borders now. A nation without secure borders is no nation at all. It makes no sense to fight terrorists abroad when our own front door is left unlocked. (more…)

    Debt and Taxes

Working Americans like lower taxes. So do I. Lower taxes benefit all of us, creating jobs and allowing us to make more decisions for ourselves about our lives. (more…)

    American Independence and Sovereignty

So called free trade deals and world governmental organizations like the International Criminal Court (ICC), NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA are a threat to our independence as a nation. (more…)

This is a really tough question to answer. The problem with our two-party system is that it is really just one party. In general, both parties have the same interests in mind aside from a few key issues. But that’s what the government wants…instead of getting angry at our system, we just get mad at the other guys and I hate to say it, but it really blinds people. Both Republicans and Democrats look down so much on the other, they are missing what matters: the issues. And that’s what it all boils down to. I don’t care about labels and neither should anyone else! Ron Paul is a Republican, yes, but he speaks truths that haven’t been spoken by a politician since Reagan. So will Democrats vote for him? It’s all up to us to spread the word and see where it goes from there. Good luck!

Ron Paul is correct on ALL his platforms. The Rich paying or not paying their taxes has NOTHING to do with it as “FUCKTHAT” had mentioned? People’s rights if left up to the states? That has NOTHING to do with the Lunacy that “FUCKTHAT” thinks voting for Ron Paul will create.

First of all, “FUCKTHAT” you need to understand more about CORPORATE activity and our Federal Reserve and our IRS system in order to get on board. Corporations have SO MANY loop holes when it comes to Tax GAINS (which, by the way is the ONLY CONSTITUTIONALLY TAXABLE PORTION OF “INCOME”) that at its current opperational status, leaves them next to ZERO accountability when it comes to FRAUD! By Corporations using laws that were meant to “FREE ENSLAVED PEOPLE”, they have characterized the BUSINESS ITSELF as a “BEING” a “PERSON” even though that entity is far more likely to have MANY PERSONS running the show. By doing this, they can attach accountability to that “PERSON” and in effect, have that person liable for fraudulent acts and the true owners (mostly kept secret by perversion of these laws) get away with their freedom and money! They can close their doors and restart ANOTHER “CORPORATION” and start all over again if they choose!

Who allows that? Our Supreme Court allows that! Our corrupt Judges allow that! It is ALL a scam! The Federal Reserve System and the IRS are the same perverts of Constitutional law! It is UNLAWFUL to tax your wages because your wage is an EVEN TRADE for LABOR you provided to an employer! You didn’t GAIN anything above what your labor earned you. Gains are the taxable portion that the Constitution allows for and it is usually through CORPORATE activity.

So, you see “FUCKTHAT”, by The Federal Reserve System taking over the issuance of our currency, they have placed themselves in THE SAME ILLEGAL stance in regards to our Constitution because first, only OUR Government has the power to coin money and it was supposed to be SOUND MONEY with a gold and silver backing.

Second, The FEDS are now in the same CORPORATE arena that scam. They are NOT federal and have NOTHING to do with our Government. Our Government gave up their JOB and DUTY to CORPORATE BANKERS who CHARGE AMERICA INTEREST ON MONEY CREATED OUT OF THIN AIR! NO BACKING, NO STANDARD BUT THE STANDARD OF INFLATION! THEY OWN EVERYTHING because we are indebted to them over a dollar that is worth $.04. They are bankrupting our country.

Third, since our Governemnt ILLEGALLY handed over our GOLD to them, where is it? There is no backing of the money they print and they have put us trillions of dollars into debt so, where is the gold? If they took the gold to back up all the money they printed, what then also happens to property since we own nothing? What did we pay for besides WARS?

I can sit here an go on and on and on and on and on as to WHY we NEED to WAKE THE HELL UP NOW and VOTE FOR RON PAUL! We need to look back into history and understand the enemy is within. We need to ban together and make a stand and also call for the PROTECTION of Ron Paul because if you look back into History, ANY President who went up against the FED (who is just about ready to complete its plan of world domination) had attemps on their life and or were KILLED. Why do you really think JFK was killed? He was printing Greenbacks (real money) to compete with the Feds dollar.(monopoly money)

The truth is, I don’t know everything there is to know but I certainly have not gotten this far by staying asleep. I do know that Ron Paul has a real good understanding of history in general and of our Constitution. I know that this man loves our country and what purpose and role it WAS supposed to play in our lives. I know these things because his actions speak it louder than words. He is a man of integrity, honor and a man of fine character. He is the man that all the “DIVERSIONIST” (Talk Show Hosts, News Media Outlets and EVERY POLITICAL PARTY) “SAY” they want in a politician but where are they? That should be enough to prove to you that there is something wrong with this country when everything can be bought and sold by big corporate banks including and not limited to -

    Our Constitution
    Our Government
    Our Opinion
    Our Willingness To Fight
    Our Vote
    Our Children
    Our God-given rights
    Our Borders
    Our Soldiers
    Our Money
Our Labor etc, etc all the way to our graves.

Be smart, Vote Ron Paul and give America’s voice back to The People!

Democrats SHOULD at least watch Ron Paul’s videos, read his website, and learn what he has to say. Here is the problem with elections: too many people are “diehard this or that”. What I’m saying is this… if someone is a diehard Republican (for example) they are likely to vote for Rudy, simply because of 9/11 - to be honest. If someone is a diehard Democrat, likely to go to Hilary. Why not listen to what both sides are saying and vote for whoever would do a better job? I think when it comes to the present and future of our country (and the world through foreign policy), we shouldn’t be so closed-minded and stubborn.
Now, if people were to actually give Ron Paul a chance, then, yes, he would most certainly win. He wants what is best for America, not his pocket. He wants what is best for our freedoms, not his own political gain. He wants what is best for our pockets (and I’m talking as a blue collar laborer here), not just the political elite’s pockets.
The solution: get your diehard friends of both sides to hear Ron Paul’s message. They will see the truth and honesty behind it and be swayed. Remember, loyalty is good for your favorite ball team, but when it comes to political parties… it is fatal.

If we do not take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity it may well be the end of our freedoms forever. It may mean a perpetual war for all time. We all know the powers that be consider us all sheep for the slaughter… It’s time for all good men and women to stand up and take the power back!!

The American people are awakening from their slumber. We have had enough of corruption and enough of the lies. This is not about left or right, it’s about defining our country once again. We are standing in defense our families, our Constitution and the liberties of all people. Stand with us!

Ron Paul will be President of the United States of America. I have no doubt anymore.

When he takes his oath the entire world will breath a collective sigh of relief… and the will love us for it.

I think a lot of the reasons the establishment is afraid of Ron Paul is because his voting record and history actually back up what he says. He doesn’t just go along with how the public is feeling. Everything he stands for he has voted for…for a decade. He voted agaisnt the war in Iraq & the Patriot Act from day 1! Thats something a majority of the candidates from BOTH parties cannot say with any honesty. Hes the only candidate who has shown concern for us..the people, concern for losses of liberties, losses of what it is to be a free person in america.
